I live and work in Sacramento, CA. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 2002 at Sacramento State University, CA. After reaching a state of burnout and depression in 2018, after 15 years of state government service, I was at a crossroads in my life, feeling lost and unsure of my purpose.

I decided for the sake of my health and sanity to take a leap of faith, following my heart to pursue my calling as an artist, and soon found myself immersed in art and the process of creating it.

What I discovered through that exploration was that art gave me a way to heal. Painting helped me process emotions, focus on the present moment, and heal in ways nothing else could.

And not only did it help me heal, but it also gave me the opportunity to use that healing energy to help others by creating paintings that would make them feel good, evoke emotion, explore within and elevate and beautify their spaces.

I exhibited my work for the first time at an art pop up at Oak Park First Friday’s at the Brickhouse Art Gallery (Sacramento, CA) in September 2019. This ignited my courage to share my artwork with others.

The paintings illustrate the emotional effects on the mind, body and spirit evoking a spiritual connection. The art is created out of love and is centered around emotional and spiritual well-being which I like to call expressions of spiritual light.

May the art touch your heart and soul, offer healing and be a source of inspiration empowering you to follow your soul’s path.
