Do You Want To Be Happy?
April 19, 2022 I had an opportunity to share the inspiration behind my painting titled “Do You Want To Be Happy”with Marcus D. Smith from The Sacramento Bee. He wrote an article for The Heart of Sacramento/Black Creativity exhibition at Arden Fair Mall Gallery which ran from April 8 -May 7, 2022. We talked about how I took the emotion of dealing with stressors of life and put it in “Do You Want To Be Happy”
“Intergalactic”
My painting Intergalactic published in the inaugural print issue 001 Spring 2021 of Abstractions Magazine. This magazine profiles BIPOC women and non/binary artists. Truly an honor. I know a lot of heart and soul went into birthing this magnificent magazine.
Celebrating Juneteenth
